I have always wanted to go to college.
I come from a family that has seen not one of their family members’ graduate from post-secondary school. I've worked hard in school and in June of last year I walked across the stage to receive my high school diploma. I have just completed my first year of college and am so eager to return. My problem is I have no
financial assistance. With tuition and room and board increases and less aid offered from the state I owe $12,000 by Aug. 3rd for one semester. That's $24,000 for one year. I have no problem funding my education through loans. However I need a co-borrower and the only person that would be able to sign with me would be my mother. My mother has previously filled bankruptcy and I'm afraid that every loan I apply for will be rejected. Please if anyone could help me, I would be eternally grateful. I am hard working and will make the best of my education in the future. I want to further my education and I’m afraid of the path my life will take if I were to drop out now. Please send me an
