Dear friends,
The mother and father I had are gone. Gone to prescription drug abuse. Years ago my mom suffered a back injury requiring her to be on prescription pain relievers for the rest of her life. Over a period of time the strongest pills at their dosage level were not comfoting her at all. She began to take more nd more at a time until she started buying them on the street running up huge credit card debt in my dad's name. We have had her in and out of rehabs, pain management, and counseling facilities until all our funds are gone. My dad's credit is ruined and he just yesterday got sued by one of the credit card companies. My dad is now on medication for depression and out of money. They are both in their late sixties and not in good health. I am torn apart and wish for them to have their money matters resolved so that they can get proper care and live out their remaining years in peace.

I am a mother of three and a grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren.They,my family are my life.Iwould die for them and if that is what it takes to end our nightmare then I would gladly do it. Eight years ago my daughter and her ex husband became involved with a cult.She was told by the leaders not to have anything to do with her family and she went along with it for two years.For two years I wasn't allowed to see my grandchildren because I was baptised a Latter DAy Saint.After two years she went against her husband and the leaders of the church and began spending time with me. This was the point where the church began to shun her.And they disassociated themselves from her.Her husband would abuse her putting her head through walls and windows. He would lock her in the house with the four children,ages 8,6,4,3 and take away the television,phone cord and remove the battery out of the car.She escaped early one morning with just the clothes on their backs.That was a year and a half ago. Along with the church's financial help he keeps taking her back to court for custody.She has had them stalking her,throwing blood on her house,breaking into her house when she is not home.She has moved four times in the last year and they somehow find her to torment her and the children again.The two oldest had to be taken out of school because the harassment won't even stop for them.The church has said that they want control of the children.We are running dry.There is no more money. If I could have a wish it would be for this nightmare to end.Heavenly Father be as it may,I pray that someone out there will read this and find it in their heart to help us.

I have been going through a rough life. When I was a child I had sezures and behavior disorder. I did a lot of bad things as a child like: lying, cheating, stealing and alot of other bad things. My Mom and Dad got a devorce. I lived with my Mom but she couldn't take my behavior so she sent me to treatment center to treatment center for 15-20 years until 1991 I did something so bad that is arson. I was sentence to 13 years on paper for my time. I went to a mental institution for 6 years, group home for 4 years, independent living Apt for 2 years and now I live on my own. On 6/28/04 something is going to happen to me that is I will be 100% free from the state of Wisconsin because my time will be served. I am scared too for the last 6 months it has been hard to find a job with how the economy has been going. I want something that will get me on a good life ahead of me. My wish is to have the money to open a chess hall in the city of Milwaukee. Chess I love to play I know children will love to play it it will keep them off the streets. I really like to help the Milwaukee commuity but I need some ones help to get me started. Like have you heard the saying it takes a spark to light a match. I'm just looking for the spark to get my life going.

My husband has been out of ful-time work for the better part of two years, although he is constantly applying for everything advertised. I have a steady job, but it is not enough to support us and our three children. Our phone and gas services have been disconncted and we don't have enough money to have them reconnected. I'm afraid the rest of our services will be disconnected soon, as we can never seem to keep them current. My wish is for my husband to find a full-time job, but at the moment we could use $3,000 to get everything caught-up and avoid any further disconnections. Thank you for reading this.

I am 23 years old. My husband and I have 4 children together. I stay home with the children, and he works everyday. We never can get ahead. We live in a 2 bedroom house that we rent. We never have enough. That is our only problem. We argue over it everyday. I just wish we had more money and could get a nice home.

I have come to a part in my life where i really do want to make a wish....to meet my biological mother in a thinner body. i don't regret my parents, don't get me wrong, i just regret the body i'm born into. i now experience life threating diseases and am looking into surgery. the only thing holding me back is the money. my insurance doesn't cover the surgery yet it will cover part of my medications and the specialists i have to see. i can not much longer afford my medications nor the specialists (nor the tests or laser surgeries) much longer. i tried to see my birth mother 2 years ago, but she denied me even though she knew i was coming to see her (i travelled to mexico city with my mom). i was told that she "hates fat people" and i am morbidly fat now and always have been. i don't know if there is anyone out there who has ever been told to you; "you look just like her" or "you sound just like her" or "you carry your feelings on your skin just like her" and never have known who "her" is? if there is just the little wish out there to help me that would be a God send. i love my Jesus Christ for he made me, but i'm not ready to go to see Him prematurely. if you are out there, could you please, please help me just a little? i have never publicly reached out like this before but i'm at my last resort.

My real wish is for a comfortable living situation for my family. We are both working hard to provide for the family. I am playing music as a part-time job,wishing that through God`s word,we as a family can do better. My mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer and the doctor wants to remove the breast.My mom has a house and alot of other medical problems.If anyone knows where I can tell my mom to apply for some help to fix the two bathrooms in her home.Also some assistance while she is recovering that would help so much. I wish I had enough money to help my mom get out of debt so she could live her life comfortable in her last years. She is 76 and my father just died of lung cancer. She was so good to him, and they were married for 56 years. Now he, who was the only one of them that worked and had an income, is gone. Mom lives on a small Social Security pension. They didn't have life insurance. I can't afford to go live with her and take care of her, and she can't afford to come live with me. I pray for God to send us an angel. God bless us all! We are actually chained down by certain issues or feelings from our wish past or present. Let's walk through the process of shining the "flashlight" deep wish down inside yourself so you can begin to change. After all, how can you fix something if you don't even know what you're trying to fix? It's impossible. We need to know exactly what wish is weighing us down so we can shake it loose. You may already know the identity of most of those wish weights, sometimes it’s easy to figure out and sometimes not. Anyway, back to the wish test list. Now that I've identified the negative emotion driving my wish resistance, it's important to fully welcome that feeling and allow it to be there, to not run from it. The only way to dissolve negative wish feelings, especially fear, is to become aware of them in a non-threatening way. Sometimes this action alone is enough to melt these negative thoughts and emotions, especially when the allowing them to surface momentarily in a therapeutic way becomes a habit. Further work is done by asking myself if I could possibly let go of that feeling. Would I rather be stuck with it or be free of it? If I'd rather be free of it, then I ask myself if I could let it go right now. Fascinatingly , as easily as you can let go of an wish you're gripping in your hand, you can learn to let go of emotions that you are gripping such as fear, resistance, etc.

You can see for yourself that this is a true fact - just pick up a small object such as a pen and grip it tightly in your hand. The pen represents your negative and uncomfortable wish feelings. The hand represents your awareness, your inner self. Now tighten your grip on the pen. Is the pen attached to you? Of course not. So then, could you let it go? Try just let it go so it falls to the floor. Were you able to do it? Here's the point of the demonstration: our emotions are not attached to us, though they sometimes feel so much a part of us that they seem attached. Don't we say I am so angry or I am so scared to make wish? In reality we feel angry or feel scared we are not that emotion. Sometimes a long-standing emotion seems so stuck to us that we couldn't possibly be free of it. BUT that is not true. Do you know what a definition of emotion is? Energy in motion. That's it. Nothing else. Energy in motion is not attached to anything because it's in motion. And anything that isn't attached can be let go of, right?! So in reality we have the power to let go of any emotion, especially when it comes to resistance to doing what we know is right and what we want to do deep down. I keep working on all of this stuff until I feel either a sense of I CAN do this! and/or a feeling of wish.

Next I make a wish list. I read the wish list again and think of an action I can take to achieve the wish. I notice the very first feeling I have about that specific action step, and write down what negative emotion is driving each negative feeling. (Once again, if I'm having trouble identifying the emotion, repeating the statement more loudly until something from my past pops up and then doing the allowing and letting go process works very well to dissolve negative feelings and resistance.) I do this on each action step until I get a feeling of I CAN or of peace and until I run out of wish actions.

Last but not least I then visualize my wish. What will it be like when I have reached this wish? I actually imagine myself living those wishes, making a movie in my head painting as vivid a picture as I can of it by engaging all my senses in the visualization. What's my life like? What am I wish? What am I doing? What's different from the way it is now? Then I write all of that down on paper.

Things always clarify by doing this wish test, and I'm often shocked at what I discover is the bottom line reason I haven't been able to wish and do what I want to wish anddo! I can almost guarantee you'll discover the same surprises.

If you could take a wonder wish and have it do ANYTHING, what would you want it to do? Quick - what's the very first thing that pops into your mind? Some people have answered this question with "lose weight" or "make me have more money" or "give me a perfect marriage" and so on. My answer to that question was "to grant me a calmer spirit and better insight into myself and others." Well, tens of thousands of people like myself have found this "wonder wish" of sorts ... and so can you.
