wish that I could find a way to pay for childcare while I attend college, I can borrow some money, but without enough it will be a struggle. I used to qualify for childcare assistance in my area, but they have changed the rules and I am required to work 20 hours a week. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but I am starting in the nursing program in the fall and they say it is best not to work. I have a 2 year old and if I worked she wouldn't get to see me much. My husband works and is on call every other week, so I would have to find a sitter for nights if I work. Also, if I did work I still wouldn't qualify for financial assistance, because then we would make too much. There's just no end to it all, I can't wait until I am out of school, but that's two years away. I need a financial supporter, why couldn't I have been born rich, I know the answer to this. I wouldn't appreciate all that I do have. I hope that everyone gets their wishes fulfilled, that is if they are not too selfish of a wish.

I wish that I could just get my hands on at lest $50.000 I just want to one time go and spend money on my kids, husband and self without wondering about how I'm going to pay the bills if I buy this or get that, for once I would like a better car, instead of the one that I have that has become old and to small for the six of us. I'm not asking for a lot,just enough to feel the joy that I never had.

I have a situation which can just happen to anyone at anytime, but I really hit rock bottom in my life. I recently turned 41 in April, I'm married and have a 2 and 3 year old girls. I thought I had this great plan in life, which was after high school take a year off,relax some,travel wherever,party with my friends, boyfriends, then go to college, graduate and get a career, own a business by 20, be successful,be humble,help or teach others in need, meet the one special man, get married, get a house,have some kids, get a pet dog and live happily ever after... but my plan had another path had a flaw, but I'm an optimist, things just happen, (The sun will come out tommorrow), but something rained on my parade. After getting married, I found out I was diagnosed with high grade cancer cells and also pregnant, I was always healthy and playing sports most of my life, I couldn't believe it, I was in denial and time went by, my baby was healthy 8lb. 15oz had another 7lb.a year later and dealt with my cancer with a specialist and having surgery and all was ok,my hubby lost his job, he took another with lower pay, but we just couldn't make ends meet, I applied for assistance but he made 50.00 too much, then I borrowed from both families and still fell behind now owing them, he filed bankruptcy 13 repayment plan fell behind, paying lawyers, trustee and courts plus the 1st & 2nd mortgage,reg bills, and living, can't get any loan when in bankruptcy,found out you can sell your house before the auction, you can save your credit from foreclosing,it was too late ran out of resources or efficient help so we endup losing our home on May 7,2004, We can't find a rental because of his credit is bad and I'm unemployed but have been seeking a job for months, but no luck.He has found a new job with great pay but it's was too late,We're homeless in Vegas,lucky we have my mom to stay only 4 or 5 days but strict apartment rules and we can't stay too long, my wish is that I would like to get a home and a job, and repay our families. I feel like I went backwards.I wish I could've help my husband out. I was looking for homes apartment and anything but wasting money on reports and not getting anywhere. Someone help us out.

I have always had a dream to help kids, mine and other peoples. I am a single mother with 3 kids at home still. I work full time and receive no help from their father in any way other than $100.00/mo total (when he actually pays). I wish someone could give me a large house on a small piece of property (about 5 acres) around Brandon, Mb. that I could raise my kids on and also take in some foster children. I would like to have a few animals on the land too to help the kids learn responsibility. If anyone can help me out, please respond to candleco_57@hotmail.com. We are actually chained down by certain issues or feelings from our wish past or present. Let's walk through the process of shining the "flashlight" deep wish down inside yourself so you can begin to change. After all, how can you fix something if you don't even know what you're trying to fix? It's impossible. We need to know exactly what wish is weighing us down so we can shake it loose. The fact that most of this is going on in the subconscious mind explains why these wishes feelings and belief systems are so mysterious to us, so often we just can’t figure out why we think/feel/behave the way we do! Consciously we know what we should wish and do, or we may truly feel like we want to wish and do something - but underneath all of that, the subconscious mind runs the old wishes.

I wish for financial help. I am a divorced mother with 2 sons, ages 9 and 12. I was married to their father for 12 years. We were divorced in 1998, when he became addicted to crack cocaine. Before he was on drugs, he had a decent job. Now, he is on the streets and homeless. I have a child support order, but they can never locate him to enforce it. And if they did find him, he has nothing to pay. I have a job working in HIV/AIDS Prevention, but it does not pay enough to make ends meet. My car is 13 years old, and is leaking oil very badly. I have had to keep making repairs on it because I cannot afford to get another one. It is not going to last much longer. My roof is leaking, and it needs to be replaced. I am able to pay for a place to live, but sometimes I need help with utilities. I would like to give my sons some of the things that their friends have, but I always have to tell them that we can't afford it. They are very understanding, but it makes me feel bad to see the disappointment in their eyes.

Anyway, back to the wish test list. Now that I've identified the negative emotion driving my wish resistance, it's important to fully welcome that feeling and allow it to be there, to not run from it. The only way to dissolve negative wish feelings, especially fear, is to become aware of them in a non-threatening way. Sometimes this action alone is enough to melt these negative thoughts and emotions, especially when the allowing them to surface momentarily in a therapeutic way becomes a habit. Further work is done by asking myself if I could possibly let go of that feeling. Would I rather be stuck with it or be free of it? If I'd rather be free of it, then I ask myself if I could let it go right now. Fascinatingly , as easily as you can let go of an wish you're gripping in your hand, you can learn to let go of emotions that you are gripping such as fear, resistance, etc.

You can see for yourself that this is a true fact - just pick up a small object such as a pen and grip it tightly in your hand. The pen represents your negative and uncomfortable wish feelings. The hand represents your awareness, your inner self. Now tighten your grip on the pen. Is the pen attached to you? Of course not. So then, could you let it go? Try just let it go so it falls to the floor. Were you able to do it? Here's the point of the demonstration: our emotions are not attached to us, though they sometimes feel so much a part of us that they seem attached. Don't we say I am so angry or I am so scared to make wish? In reality we feel angry or feel scared we are not that emotion. Sometimes a long-standing emotion seems so stuck to us that we couldn't possibly be free of it. BUT that is not true. Do you know what a definition of emotion is? Energy in motion. That's it. Nothing else. Energy in motion is not attached to anything because it's in motion. And anything that isn't attached can be let go of, right?! So in reality we have the power to let go of any emotion, especially when it comes to resistance to doing what we know is right and what we want to do deep down. I keep working on all of this stuff until I feel either a sense of I CAN do this! and/or a feeling of wish.

Next I make a wish list. I read the wish list again and think of an action I can take to achieve the wish. I notice the very first feeling I have about that specific action step, and write down what negative emotion is driving each negative feeling. (Once again, if I'm having trouble identifying the emotion, repeating the statement more loudly until something from my past pops up and then doing the allowing and letting go process works very well to dissolve negative feelings and resistance.) I do this on each action step until I get a feeling of I CAN or of peace and until I run out of wish actions.

Last but not least I then visualize my wish. What will it be like when I have reached this wish? I actually imagine myself living those wishes, making a movie in my head painting as vivid a picture as I can of it by engaging all my senses in the visualization. What's my life like? What am I wish? What am I doing? What's different from the way it is now? Then I write all of that down on paper.

Things always clarify by doing this wish test, and I'm often shocked at what I discover is the bottom line reason I haven't been able to wish and do what I want to wish anddo! I can almost guarantee you'll discover the same surprises.

If you could take a wonder wish and have it do ANYTHING, what would you want it to do? Quick - what's the very first thing that pops into your mind? Some people have answered this question with "lose weight" or "make me have more money" or "give me a perfect marriage" and so on. My answer to that question was "to grant me a calmer spirit and better insight into myself and others." Well, tens of thousands of people like myself have found this "wonder wish" of sorts ... and so can you.
